“The best view in Elie”

Stay in a historic home in Elie, in the East Neuk of Fife, Scotland.

Occupying a prominent vantage point over Elie harbour, Wynd House, built in 1584, is situated just 10 miles from St. Andrews in the heart of the coastal village of Elie.

We offer B&B accommodation for as short as one night or longer, either in Wynd House or in our garden cottage.

From the comfort of one of the beautiful bedroom bay windows, enjoy the sea views and watch the ebb and flow of the tides.

We look forward to welcoming you….

….whether you are visiting the East Neuk for golf, walking the Fife Coast Path, visiting St. Andrews or coming for a family seaside holiday.

Wynd House is home to descendants of Admiral Sir Andrew Wood, ‘Scotland’s Nelson”, and we are the 11th generation of the Wood family to live here and welcome visitors.

Wynd’s extensive ‘secret’ gardens are enclosed within a medieval stone wall, offering peace and privacy despite its central location in the village.

Wynd House is a stone’s throw from the local shops, and is on the Fife Coastal Path. The Elie golf courses, tennis and padel courts, the Ship Inn pub and watersports are just a short walk, Dumbarnie Links golf course and Kinneuchar Inn are five minutes drive.

B&B guests can enjoy the private sea garden for sea swimming and can book our sea garden sauna. Wynd House is unique accommodation in the Elie and the East Neuk!
